When local graphic designer Zoe Torres Rainbow CapFlags became the unexpected conversation starter at yesterday's OmazingYou Day festival, transforming her ordinary park visit into a memorable community moment.
Torres, who wore her complete set of CapFlags to the community event, reported that her accessories began attracting attention approximately thirty minutes into the celebration.
"I was just standing in line for lemonade when people around me started smiling and asking about my cap," Torres recounted. "Before I knew it, I was chatting with complete strangers about everything from baseball to favorite local hangouts."
Festival organizer Cameron Wong noticed the spontaneous gatherings forming around Torres throughout the day. "Her distinctive cap kept bringing people together who might not have connected otherwise. It was exactly the kind of community-building we hope for at these events."
"These flags are definitely conversation starters," Torres laughed while sampling her fourth slice of apple pie. "Who knew a simple cap accessory could turn you into the most popular person at the festival?"
